Our Client

Our client is a forward-thinking, progressive agency based in Central Birmingham. They are easily commutable from Warwick, Leamington, Stratford, Birmingham and surrounding areas.

They're now looking for a Marketing Manager to work alongside the Marketing Director to help drive growth through awareness.

The Role

Working with the Marketing Director and the wider team, including a range of passionate specialists and the Partnership Lead, you'll help to plan and deliver the day-to-day marketing plan, which is centred around generating new business through brand awareness.

As a true brand champion, you'll be passionate about the brand and their offering, so much so, you'll want everyone to know about them! These guys already have an outstanding reputation, and this role is designed to help maintain and grow that which will in turn help to generate leads and drive business growth.

You'll work across the full marketing mix, interacting with potential clients at various touch points including events, content, awards and PR, and you will work tirelessly to promote the brand and its values, both internally and to the wider industry.

With a focus on generating new business through marketing activities, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and running a targeted event plan
  • Collaborating with a team of area specialists - you'll collate and manage content across blogs, journals and magazines (both print and digital)
  • Budget management
  • Management the website, blogs and microsites
  • Work with the external PR team to maximise on spend and opportunity
  • Act as brand guardian ensuring consistency of tone across all business communications

You're a result driven, commercially minded, creative Marketer who is always looking for the next new way to grow sales/leads.

Targets and lead generation are words that put 'fire in your belly', rather than a sense of dread in the pit of your stomach; you want to get out there and smash it!

You've got previous experience of working in a B2B environment and you love the challenge, you're also super collaborative and love working with others to achieve results.

You're not afraid to venture in the unknown; maybe you've organised a few low-key events (or even just put delegate packs together) and loved it. It's pretty likely you're still of the mindset that 'Content is King', and you enjoy pulling together effective and engaging content that delivers results.

The icing on the cake would be that you find the tech industry exciting and words like innovation, transformation and solutions put a smile on your face!
