Our client is a Tech consultancy, established 6 years ago to build mobile and web technology that offers practical solutions for digital transformation. They work with some of the world's biggest businesses to engage employees, improve customer experience and boost operational performance.
Their specialties include concept development, interactive prototypes, proof of concepts, technology reviews, process mapping, and innovation workshops and they have some incredible case studies for the likes of Virgin, BA, Bombardier and more.
The consultancy is a small, very well structured business, housed with intelligent, focussed, collaborative, open and trusting people who are very proud of their products and solutions and all enjoy making a difference on a large scale.
The business has got to where it has through great connections, word of mouth and conferences and they'd like to go a step further and make sure to establish their brand in the minds of the wider Transportation market and new markets.
This Head of Marketing position is a newly created role. You'll be joining the consultancy as their first marketing professional and work with them to shape the marketing strategy, plan and implement brand and campaign activity. You'll be supported from day one by a Marketing Executive and can grow a small team or establish partner agencies for more specialist marketing support. The purpose of the role is to raise awareness of the brand amongst various target markets, PR their successes and drive inbound leads. We see this as a mix of brand development and messaging, events, PR, content marketing and digital marketing. Should any area need a specialist resource, then budgets will be found for new perm, freelance or agency support. You will lead the marketing and make things happen.
You will be an entrepreneurial spirit, preferring to work in a less corporate environment. We'd love you to have been on a similar journey before with a growing business, as the sole marketing person in the business.
It is essential that you have a strong B2B marketing background, in a tech or digital solutions business.
