As Artwork Manager, you will play a key role in the creative team. Reporting to the Head of Design you will manage a team of 2D Designers/Artworkers on a huge range of high-quality POS for high profile brands. Your role will mainly consist of managing the team and workload, being the gatekeeper to all 2D graphics, 2D internal processes, ensuring all work is compliant, and reviewing processes for continuous improvements. You will also be involved with the general day to day of artworking and file processing, though you will only be hands-on with artworking to support the team when needed, and most of your time will be managerial duties. You will be part of a creative team of 22 people, also working closely with Project Management and Account Management teams to deliver the work.
You may be a Senior Artworker with experience of overseeing Artworkers and workflow, ready to take on a management role, or you may be in a management role looking to take your skills and experience to a new company for a new challenge. Ultimately you have a good understanding of print processes, inks, and materials. Ideally, you have proven experience of managing 2D graphic artworking and pre-press file preparation teams, preferably within the POS arena. You consider yourself to have a positive attitude to work and are calm and focused under pressure, also meticulous and methodical with a process driven mind. You are able to steer projects down agreed workflows while dealing with many stakeholders, and ensuring things happen on time. You are skilled in Adobe CC InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator, and have excellent Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint skills.
