IR35 Cycle – IR35 support resources for your business

Ir35 Cycle

The much-anticipated IR35 changes in the private sector have now taken effect, which means that going forward, for any freelance booking that you make, you will have to complete a Status Determination Statement (SDS) for each freelancer that you engage with through their LTD company. This is unless your business is officially a small business and, therefore, exempt.

At Beyond The Book, we are here to continually support and guide you and your business, to enable you to navigate and make sense of these IR35 changes. As such, we have a great new, and free, product; our IR35 Cycle will be a valuable tool for anyone in your business that needs additional information and resources at the various stages of booking a freelancer.

The IR35 Cycle is a simple, unique platform that has been put together with bite-sized chunks of content from ourselves, Brookson One’s compliance and legal expert, and our partners at The Recruitment Network. It consists of written content, short videos and webinars that you can dip in and out of, including:

  • A short summary of what IR35 is

  • What is changing for Hirers

  • The key factors that determine the IR35 status

  • Conducting an IR35 status assessment on your freelancers/contractors

  • Producing a status determination statement (SDS)

  • Using the CEST tool and other tools to do your IR35 audits

  • Hirers must take ‘reasonable care’ – what does this mean?

  • Why blanket assessments don’t work and run the risk of large fines for your business

  • 2 x webinar recordings that cover the changes for both the client and the freelancer

  • Frequently asked questions about IR35

  • Avoiding an IR35 talent drain

To get your own unique access to this IR35 Cycle and the content included, please email us and we can provide you and your business with your own login details.

Equally, if you have any questions, or need support on how to book a freelancer, our freelance team is always here to support you.
