We are working with a small, design agency who are looking for an agency Account Executive or Account Manager to cover a maternity contract for 18 months, starting beginning-middle of March 2019. The role could go permanent if growth is experienced during the contracted period, should both parties consider that an option, but if you are contract only, that is totally fine!
The agency is very, very well established, having been founded in 1999. They do what they do well, for a niche sector (full details will be provided). Currently, the agency comprises of two Designers and one Account Manager and you'd be replacing the current Account Manager. The agency is in the Evesham area, surrounded by beautiful countryside and there is free parking on-site.
The core of the role is to manage bi-monthly and quarterly client publications; it's a well-planned programme and the role of the Account Manage is to gather the content (press ads, advertorials, editorial) from their suppliers, brief into the design team and achieve the set deadlines. Outside of this, there will also be ad hoc design projects to manage, which can be print collateral, POS, packaging and web.
There is an element of new business in the role, to enable to agency to thrive. This would be targeting warm prospects, which we can explain in more detail on application. As the hours are very flexible, from part time to full time, there would be a greater element of new business activity directly attributable to the hours you'd like to work. Minimum hours would be 20 per week, taken in a way that works for you.
This Design Account Manager role would really suit someone who wants to enjoy a small, friendly, caring team, local to home and enjoy reduced hours.
We do need you to come with experience managing design/print projects, with good experience in client and supplier relationship management. Some experience and an aptitude for business development would be great.
The benefits include: competitive salary, pension scheme, flexible working. 24 days holiday pro rata (plus bank holidays).
