If you are an agency Account Director looking for an opportunity to make a difference as the sole Account Management lead, with all the autonomy that brings, then we would really love to hear from you.

Our Client Partner

We have worked with this agency client for over 8 years and placed many a happy candidate there. The Commercial Director is fantastic to work with and for, and they have created a well-structured client services team of 3 Account Managers and 3 Account Executives, who each work on 2-3 brands in the F&B sector. The culture feels a lot like the brands they work for, creatively speaking, and the people are busy, motivated and creative.

This opportunity is Birmingham based, so whether you still have the pull toward city living or would like to settle in a regency town or village with easy network access, location here makes these all viable options. This is a very reputable, successful agency working with exciting leading brands that will enable you to continue your career working with high profile clients.

With the stepping up of the Account Director, a space has now evolved for a motivated Senior Account Manager to join them.

The Role

As Account Director you will take the lead of the 3 account teams, made up of an Account Manager and an Account Executive in each. Each team has their own 2 or 3 clients and they help deliver across brand, experiential and interiors. The brands are well known pub groups and restaurant chains (some of which are global) and the teams work with an organised and highly creative team of 2D and 3D specialists. You will motivate your team and help them solve problems and adhere to quality and process standards, manage a couple of bigger clients/projects yourself, and offer strategic direction to clients when needed.

About You

We would love to talk to you if you come from a small or medium sized agency, where adaptability and thinking and working creatively is possible. Whilst specific F&B experience isn’t essential, you will be all about brand, rather than coming from a marketing agency. A passion for lifestyle brands is important.

It goes without saying that you are an excellent relationship manager, who enjoys engaging clients strategically and establishing positive relationships internally.

Exciting times are afoot at this agency and this is a very special role in the sense that it’s a genuinely big opportunity and will offer someone a great career path!

So, if you like the sound of all of this, please send your CV to us asap or call me to chat it all through further; plenty more to tell you!
