Sitting in a small, yet efficient and super friendly marketing team, this Digital Marketing Executive will be joining an Assistant Marketing Manager and a Digital Content Specialist; together you will create effective Digital Marketing campaigns that drive traffic and generate leads.
The main purpose of the role is to take responsibility for the daily maintenance and development of the company website and support the execution of email marketing campaigns.
The on-going website project will involve daily content updates, optimising content for SEO, creating and uploading new landing pages and ensuring that the e-commerce facility is functioning correctly.
You will also work closely with the external web development agency to make recommendations for improvements in performance.
Main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Daily management of the website (125+ pages)
- Creating SEO optimised content with the help of the internal Content Marketing Specialist
- Use Google Analytics to track and analyse website traffic and key performance indicators, such as bounce rates and dwell time, provide regular internal reports
- Work closely with external agencies on PPC and Paid Social activity
- Create and deploy emails using an industry standard email platform
- Design and create web banners and assist with website visuals
Whilst the main focus of this role is the on-going development of the company's website and email communications, you will also be involved in ALL elements of digital marketing from SEO, PPC and Social Media activity, it will, therefore, be vital that you have experience in a similar Digital Marketing role.
You may have come from a Web Content Assistant type role but have a keen interest in broadening your digital skill set. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years' experience in digital marketing, and you will ideally have a creative eye with the ability to use Adobe Creative Suite for the creation of digital assets, such as banner adverts.
It will be vital that you have basic HTML/CSS skills, a working knowledge of SEO, hands-on experience using a CMS and a good understanding of how to navigate and report from Google Analytics.
In addition, you will ideally have excellent copywriting skills with exceptional attention to detail as you will be devising and editing content for various digital platforms.
