The Role

This newly created, digitally focused, 'Head of Strategy' is a vital role for the agency moving forward, and during an excitement growth period. Sitting on the senior management team and reporting in to the CEO and MD, this is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to make the move to a more senior position. With a solid understanding of digital products and strategy, you will work closely with clients to understand their strategic business/digital goals and objectives.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Understanding and evaluating a client's current proposition, their competitive arena and areas of growth through digital transformation
  • Creating long term strategies
  • Acting as overall strategic project lead for key projects and programmes of work across a range of clients
  • Work with the MD and CEO to develop a business development strategy for the agency
  • Create a suite of strategy products/workshops

You'll also line manage the Digital Marketing Manager, and work together with the wider team to help identify new marketing campaigns, content and event platforms for the agency.

About You

The successful candidate will ideally have 2-3 years agency experience at Digital/Brand/Account Director level, although cultural fit and proven experience in strategy development is key! You'll have a demonstrable background in the creation of digital strategies, and be confident in presentation, facilitation and persuasion skills to senior leaders within clients' organisations.
