Our Client

Our client is a Digital Marketing agency which started in 2011. They are all about intelligent, logical and commercial online solutions that help their clients' grow and thrive. Their passion and knowledge is impressive; they're working with a diverse mix of clients, big and small, UK and overseas, to attract and retain online consumers. They scope, build and deliver a range of online solutions to their clients as well as taking on existing third-party projects and optimising them to their own very high standards.  They are also keen to develop their own online products as well.

The Role

This Web Developer role will suit a creative mind, a team player, a forward thinker, a problem solver and someone who enjoys development that is part of a marketing plan, and which has an objective and an end result.

You will be the first Developer into the business and will have autonomy to really build the digital function around your own vision and very high standards, working on and building brand new WordPress sites for their UK based and overseas clients.

About You

Our client values the persons skills and desire to grow professionally very highly.  They will be looking for an excellent communicator who has an entrepreneurial spirit that they can bring to the business.

The ideal candidate for this Web Developer role will come with:

  • 2+ Years PHP Experience
  • WordPress Experience
  • HTML5/CSS3 Experience (LESS, SASS/SCSS Experience would be great)
  • JavaScript, including jQuery (Exposure to other libraries would be a plus!)
  • Version control
  • Have the ability to turn PSD documents into well-structured HTML
  • Be autonomous and self-sufficient
  • Use data to drive decisions
  • Be able to think in a mobile-first approach
  • Learn new tools and techniques quickly
  • Get involved with all aspects of hosting/deployment/DNS
  • Be an excellent problem solver with experience using the following key technologies/applications:
  • Experience with Adobe CC
  • Experience with version control (GIT / SVN)
